After three seismic surveys, Shell – along with its Joint Venture partners – has drilled seven exploration and appraisal wells and is currently planning further exploration and appraisal activity. Shell has a small office in Windhoek which oversees its business in Namibia. This activity is separate from the Shell-branded retail sites in country, which are managed by Vivo Energy under a brand license agreement.
