THE SR. MANAGER, OPERATIONS POSITION
Sunnova Energy is searching for a Sr. Manager, Operations to be responsible for overseeing all central region installation operations. This position is critical to the productivity and success of the Central Operations department and ensures field operations performance - meeting scheduling and quality expectations.
SR. MANAGER, OPERATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations (TX, CO, NV)
•Oversee project coordinator team for all central region installation operations.
•Assist Solar Field Managers in the central region with various tasks.
•Manage installation partner relationships and lead weekly construction calls with each partner.
•Responsible for the timeline coordination of all central region field installations.
•Communicate and enforce project milestone requirements with installation partners.
•Manage and monitor the Project Manager and SFM dashboard.
•Onboard new installation partners.
•Provide training and support to installation partner employees.
•Represent central region in new builder and new community kickoff meetings.
•Facilitate new community kickoff with Solar Field Managers and installation partners.
•Permitting Support (Aids in permit submittal/review when needed).
•Submit/track permit applications for Nevada (with support of coordinator).
•Support interconnections with any missing documents and rejections for PTO.
•Create and edit tracking reports for project coordinators and installation partners.
•Track installer work order pre-closures and close installation work orders.
•Troubleshoot work order closure issues and provide application support to project coordinators and install partners.
Design (Supports CO, NV, TX)
•Collect and supply all necessary new community documents for design requests.
•Track builder SOP’s/starts schedules and manage priority of requests.
•Determine community-level design revisions requests
•Evaluate the need and requirements for third-party engineering stamps.
•Request new and revised ABOMs.
•Identify any ABOM errors based on installation practices and installation feedback.
Sales Support
•Monitor and update community start-ups.
•Support sales teams with any status updates and operation questions.
Supply Chain/Inventory Management (CO, NV, TX)
•Communicate and implement material transitions with installation partners.
•Approve material requests from install partners
•Monitors and assists the supply chain department with escalated material demands.
•Identify discrepancies and review active job reports with installation partners for quarterly physical inventory.
•Analyze filed inventory reporting for quarterly physical inventory.
•Provide inventory management support and investigation.
•Review issue on changes for inventory depletion based on installer and territory.
Service
•Monitor and evaluate community removal/reinstallation opportunities and needs in response to known storms.
•Supports and addresses the needs of escalated service cases.
Accounting
•Assist accounting in evaluating and solving installer aging balances.
•New community work order template creation.
•Management and review of community work order product changes.
•Manage and complete expense reporting for permits on company cards.
•Assist with month and quarter-end work order accounting requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or equivalent combination of experience and education
•8+ years’ related experience
•3+ years’ management experience
WORKING CONDITIONS
•Work from home
•5% - 10%travel
•Driving required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•Extended period of time working at a computer
