The Service Electrician is a key member of the Service Team and will be responsible for ensuring our

systems are maintained to PV Squared design specifications and are in compliance with all code regulations.

The Service Team Electrician must be a Massachusetts Licensed Electrician. The service electrician will be

directly responsible for the servicing of solar photovoltaic energy systems and related equipment (e.g.

electrical service panels, battery storage, monitoring & control systems, etc) and must be comfortable

working on roofs. The ideal candidate will be a solutions-focused holistic problem solver with excellent

communication and customer service skills and significant experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced

team setting.

Minimum Requirements:

? Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License in good standing

? Stable active work history in the electrical trade

? Safe work history

? Comfortable working on various buildings and structures, carrying up to 50lbs weight at all heights

and working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.

? Reliable transportation and clean driving history

? Proficient working with smart phones, tablets and computers

Our Ideal Candidate:

? OSHA 10 certificate

? Extensive knowledge of PV-specific aspects of NEC and Building Code and has a thorough

understanding of PV System design

? Computer and software competent with experience in CRM software, phone apps, and solar

specific monitoring platforms.

? Residential and commercial electrical construction experience with services & distribution circuits

as well as solar PV electrical design experience

? Solutions-focused with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

? Excellent internal and external client management skills, including ability to proactively

communicate and anticipate client needs

? Focused with a strong emphasis on quality craftsmanship and efficiency

? Extremely organized and detail-oriented with documentation

? Passionate about solar energy, green building, and the cooperative business model

? Flexible thinker and team player who is willing to pitch in where needed
