Job Description:
The role of the OE Analyst is to ensure that all financial reporting activities are performed in an effective, controlled and efficient manner. The role requires the incumbent to ensure financial submissions are done accurately and timely with high quality commentaries.
The primary accountabilities of the role are:
• Take ownership of the numbers, ensure financials are true and fair, financial commentaries are of top quality
• Ensure controls are executed properly and they are operating effectively
• Work collaboratively with various connected teams (Group, HM, PAR, Tax, FiB, External auditors, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate group/statutory financial submissions
• Demonstrate learner mindset and share learnings and mistakes to avoid recurrence
• Contribute to R&A aspirations to reduce MJEs, World Class Close and World Class Controls
Experience and Qualifications:
• Graduate / Postgraduate in Accounting / Finance 0-2 Years of experience in Accounting
• Experience in Group Reporting activities and knowledge of Trading companies will be an added advantage.
• Strong accounting knowledge to work through issues and assess the strength of the internal control framework
• Knowledge in IFRS / GAAP requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Good organizational skills with ability to succeed under tight deadlines
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment to harness abilities and accomplish goals
• Proficiency in MS office and SAP
