What’s the role?
Low Carbon Fuels ‘LCF’ is a massive growth agenda for Shell to reach the Carbon ambitions of the Group and commitment to regulators. As part of strategic business agenda, major capital improvements are being pursued, and as this agenda progresses, Shell must maintain its commitment to compliance, regulation and social responsibility. As part of LCF growth ambitions, the Regulatory Operations Process and Control Team will partner with regulatory operators, LCF BIAM, LCF Digital, trading desks, and LOD2 teams to support our strategic initiatives. They will also help the business to develop and maintain processes that fit within our control framework appropriate assurance measures.
The Accountabilities will include the Compliance LOD1 Program such as:
SME role to support BIAM and Digital – a dedicated focal to projects
Support operations team with creating and maintaining process documentation
Support process mapping or documentation activities on behalf of (and/or with) the regulatory operations teams
Support emerging regulation implementation
Work on “quick wins” to automate manual processes
Identify control points in processes and support monitoring and/or assessment efforts
Update LCF Control Handbook sections related to operational regulatory compliance
Support the LOD1 self – assessment schedule
Support Metric dashboard development and CLE tracking to support Compliance Monitoring Board, LCF Governance Board, and any other supervisory governance forums

What we need from you
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
Bachelor’s degree with 3 or more years of professional work experience
SME role to support BIAM and Digital – a dedicated focal to projects
ETRM and GSAP experience to support digital deliver
Knowledge level competency and experience in Operations, knowledge in Finance and Tax is an additional benefit
Excellent interpersonal skills
Analytically savvy and attention to detail
Ownership of delivery
Ability to thrive in a dynamic trading environment
The base salary range for this position is $101,000 - $151,000 per year. Individual pay will be based on various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity.
For regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Paid leave includes up to 6 weeks of paid vacation time, up to 11 paid holidays, and parental leave offering 16 weeks of paid leave to birthing mothers, and 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birthing parents. Additionally, employees are eligible for disability leave for up to 52 weeks at 100% or 50% of base pay. Shell also offers other compensation such financial reimbursement for adoption, wellness, education, and personal learning expenses, and some roles are eligible for discretionary long-term incentives. For interns, eligible benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs; participation in a 401(k) plan; and paid leave for up to 11 paid holidays.
