Job Description:

Where you fit in

The purpose of this role is to provide specialist expertise in short and medium-term maintenance planning for the Midstream Operations, ensuring compliance, availability of plant and driving reliability in accordance with maintenance management strategies.

The position is under "Max Term" contract of two years.

Opportunities exist for Brisbane based 5-2 and Gladstone based 9-day fortnight roster on Curtis Island.

What’s the role?

You will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

  • Support reliability in accordance with maintenance management strategies, scoping the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant corrective and preventive maintenance activities on the organisation plant and equipment.

  • Develop maintenance work scope, ensuring the allocation all necessary parts, equipment, services, and documentation ensuring effective execution of maintenance and operations tasks.

  • Liaise with production staff and the maintenance supervisor(s) to optimise planned maintenance.

  • Establish, maintain, and improve the maintenance planning and scheduling business flow processes.

  • Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work.

  • Support continuous improvement of CMMS data through the submission of Change Requests (CRs) and direct amendment of Job Plans (JPs).

  • Accurately update the CMMS system with regards to changes in materials, resources or work scope based on actual data and feedback from the execution teams.

  • Review/Run Maintenance system audits as required.

  • Comply with and give due consideration to all HSSE requirements as stipulated by the operating company.

What we need from you

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Upstream or Midstream Oil & Gas Experience (Preferred)

  • Trade background in either Electrical/Instrumentation or Mechanical

  • Exposure to work management systems and processes.

  • Experience in maintaining computer maintenance management systems?(CMMS) – Maximo/SAP or similar.

  • Planning experience with Power Generation, Rotating Equipment, electric and engine driven compression, Hydraulic Power Units, Centrifugal and Reciprocating Compressors, and Static Equipment.

  • Experience in RBI, Fabric & Civil Maintenance

  • Exposure to Turnaround and Asset Event planning processes.

  • Knowledge of statutory requirements and management of safety critical equipment.

  • System Audits, Master Data Maintenance, Data Presentation, Maintenance systems reports, Record Maintenance and Document Management Systems.

  • High level of motivation, a team player with the ability to work unsupervised.

  • Commitment to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities and providing solutions.

  • Possess a strong focus on safety; applicable to yourself, those around you and applied in all facets of your work.

  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal, with ability to build and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders and departments.
