Global Sales Leader- Data Center Power Generation

This Global Sales Director will be responsible for selling power generation machine projects to data center customers throughout the US and abroad. This Sales Leader will develop a team of sales professionals for this newly established department.

As the Data Center Sales Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling products and systems requiring thorough technical knowledge and knowledge of the Data Center environment where the products and systems will be used.
  • Processing Sales requiring technical analysis and adaptation to client, market and ecosystem conditions.
  • Accessing to DC on-site power projects, leveraging own network of owners/operators, engineering companies and other players in the ecosystem to develop and executes the DC Go-To-Market strategy for the USA.
  • Managing complex sales processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internally.
  • Managing the technical, economical, logistical and financial aspects are involved in creating a proposal.
  • Coordinating sales teams involving engineering, legal, risk, finance etc. Department is involved in medium-large sales.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 10+ years of successful sales experience.
  • Knowledgeable about Data Center ecosystem including developers, contractors, owners/operators and tenants.
  • Experience in selling power generation products to data center customers on a national basis
  • Experience with long term planning of resources, technology and account structure
  • Experience in developing a sales department including hiring, training, and management for a global, matrixed company
  • Able to travel at least 50% to customers
