Position Overview:
As a Financial Advisor - Corporate Finance, you will play a crucial role in analyzing the company's financial performance, managing inter-group charges, supporting investor relations activities, overseeing insurance-related processes, maintaining the corporate approval ownership and focal point for crisis management.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the Profit and Loss (P&L) account and Balance Sheet of the company, with a focus on corporate/functional expenses, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
- Post and track inter-group charges on a monthly basis, ensuring their accuracy and collaborating with the Treasury team to ensure timely payment and reconciliation.
- Support Investor Relations activities by reviewing share price movement in comparison to benchmarks and competitors, analyzing market trends, and preparing reports for senior management.
- Manage the annual insurance renewal process, including negotiating coverage terms and premiums, coordinating with brokers and insurers, and settling claims in a timely manner.
- Conduct comprehensive risk analysis by preparing and analyzing the Company Risk Matrix, identifying potential risks, and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Maintain ownership of the corporate approval process, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, and providing guidance to stakeholders on approval requirements.
- Serve as the focal point for crisis management, developing and implementing protocols and response plans to effectively address potential crises or disruptions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, Operations, and Communications, to coordinate crisis response efforts and maintain business continuity.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to corporate finance, risk management, and crisis management.
