What is the role?
The position provides ad-hoc support to other organizations to co-ordinate brownfield construction activities on FPSO ESS and/or when the SBM is required.
Accountabilities:
- The BC10 FPSO Coordinator position is a broad-based operations role designed to support the BC10 Production Manager in providing assurance of the FPSO’s technical integrity, reliability and safe operating conditions. The position requires functional understanding of the FPSO equipment, systems, structures, and performance of the production and maintenance plans to assure safe and reliable performance.
- The BC10 FPSO Coordinator is the focal point for the Integrated Activity plan. The role also includes support to WRFM reviews and analysis, drives monthly reliability accountability reviews with SBM and act as focal point for data collection for Benchmarking studies. It is expected that BC10 FPSO Coordinator will be offshore for targeted activities.
- The BC10 FPSO Coordinator has a key role on reducing facility deferment and integrity incidents by leveraging the contract KPIs and obligations, influencing SBM to deliver optimized equipment care strategy, participate and/or lead root cause/causal learning analysis and perform asset integrity assurance through a “go see” approach, and by understanding the facility management system processes of SBM and its equivalent within Shell.
- The BC10 FPSO Coordinator is accountable to assure the monitoring plan is being executed by coordinating Proactive Technical Monitoring (via Bridge, P&T, Arch), performing go-sees , and the application of the Conduct Assurance Program (Line of Defense (LOD 1 ,2, 3). The BC10 FPSO Coordinator is responsible to orchestrate engineering resources from PTP, Center of Excellences, 3rd parties, and other areas that are providing the expected and agreed support within the SLAs and CTRs. The FPSO Coordinator will also act as the Shell Process Focal Point for the Perform Maintenance Execution Performance Framework Process.
- The BC10 FPSO Coordinator is responsible to engage SBM, influence and hold accountable to assure the planning and execution of maintenance and inspection are complaint with contract KPIs and industry best practices. The BC10 FPSO Coordinator will be responsible to engage as necessary to ensure that the SBM is performing according to their contractual responsibilities, including periodic and corrective maintenance on topsides and marine systems, as well as addressing actual or perceived threats (and opportunities) to the availability and reliability of the production units as found through the assurance process.
- The BC10 FPSO Coordinator provides leadership and direction to work coordination and prioritization between Shell and SBM by defining focus areas, leveraging tools and management systems available by both Shell and SBM and orchestrating efforts between the Shell and O&M teams to ensure initiatives, projects and daily activities are focused on driving safety, availability, reliability and cost/schedule excellence.
- The BC10 FPSO Coordinator supports turnaround plans. This includes assurance on Turn Around Reviews (TARs) and supports an optimized schedule to minimize shut-in duration through increased efficiency during execution, driven primarily by focus on advanced preparation in the forms of pre-work and planning.
What we need from you?
- Proven experience and strong focus on operations and asset support.
- Mechanical, Chemical, Production, Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry in the areas of maintenance and operations.
- Knowledge of HSEQ, Personal Safety and Process safety requirements.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as SGSO, Society of Class, Brazilian NRs ( NR-13/ NR-37/NR-10) and others are considered differential.
- TA2/3 on a discipline engineering related to topsides or marine is also considered a differential.
- Knowledge of Equipment and Integrity Maintenance is also considered a differential.
- Contract Management Skills is also considered a differential.
- FPSO Commissioning and Startup knowledge is also considered a differential.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both leadership and field staff.
- Ability to build and deliver safety and availability results through third party contractor.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both leadership and field staff.
- Ability to perform and take decision on integrated planning and POB Control.
- Work through others to achieve results.
- Be a proactive team player.
- Manage Budget, Project Costs and schedule and processes effectively.
- Must be able to respond to emergency or urgent calls as needed and work extended hours as appropriate.
- Offsite and offshore travel required.
- Active Brazilian Engineer (CREA) is mandatory.
