Job Description:

„Építs karriert egy világszínvonalú csapatban!” (Build your career with a world-class team!)

Are you passionate about finance and eager to develop your career in a global organization? Or perhaps you already have experience in credit management and are looking for your next challenge? Either way, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Why Join Us?

At Shell, we believe that great careers are built on real achievements. That’s why we focus on what you can do and what you can accomplish—rather than just what’s on your CV. As an Associate Credit & Debt Collection Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring healthy cash flow and maintaining strong relationships with our Hungarian-speaking customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be responsible for managing customer accounts, resolving outstanding debts, and ensuring smooth cash flow operations. Your daily tasks will include:

Ensuring timely payments – Proactively contacting customers and negotiating outstanding payments in line with agreed terms.

Investigating payment discrepancies – Identifying and resolving issues related to unallocated cash, credits, and overdue debts.

Managing account reconciliations – Processing refunds, writing off balances, and ensuring correct financial reporting.

Maintaining relationships – Collaborating with internal teams, sales partners, and external customers to optimize credit control processes.

Supporting financial operations – Running reports, tracking disputes, and ensuring compliance with credit policies.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

We welcome candidates from different backgrounds—whether you have solid finance experience or are eager to learn and grow in this field. What matters most is your ability to take ownership, solve problems, and build strong relationships.

? Background in finance, accounting, or business (a degree or relevant experience is a plus!)

? Fluent in Hungarian (C1) and English (B2) – You will use both languages daily.

? Strong communication and negotiation skills – You’re comfortable discussing financial matters with customers and stakeholders.

? Good analytical skills – You enjoy investigating and solving discrepancies.

? Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

If you don't see yourself fully reflected in every job requirement listed in the posting above, we still encourage you to reach out and apply. We are committed to creating a more equitable, inclusive, and diverse company and we strongly encourage applicants of all genders, ages, ethnicities, cultures, abilities, sexual orientations, and life experiences to apply!
