Job Description
Berry Corporation (bry) has an opening for an Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EI&C) Foreman who will own their responsibility for oversight of engineering, design, construction, and maintenance projects (capital and expense) within the Field Services organization. The EI&C Foreman will oversee EI&C construction representatives for field activities while ensuring all processes, procedures, and safety regulations are followed. Key Accountabilities
- Works on multiple projects in multiple locations.
- Assists in the creation of cost estimates for upcoming well development projects.
- Assists in creating project schedules.
- Oversees SCADA, PLC, POC, HMI, and process control system design and implementation for activities supported by the Field Services Organization.
- Champions efforts to improve data flow/systems to reduce handoffs and manual inputs.
- Identifies opportunities for capital improvements of the organization's electrical distribution systems.
- Functions as the organization's point of contact with utility companies such as PG&E.
- Provides EI&C design input for Field Services projects.
- Supervises EI&C construction crews that perform construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Communicates and interacts with employees, contractors, and the general public.
- Supports selection of EI&C contractors for execution of Field Services projects.
- Provides oversight of EI&C Construction Technical Representatives (CTR's).
- Assists in bid analysis.
- Monitors project activities to ensure company personnel and vendors provide quality service and adhere to safety and environmental policies.
- Supports all corporate policies and management decisions.
- Aids, supports, monitors, and assists the members of the Operations Department as needed.
- Complies with all the Company's Safety and Environmental policies, practices, and programs. Takes corrective action within training limitations. Escalates as necessary.
- Collaborates with the operational and EH&S team to effectively meet area and departmental EH&S goals.

Experience and Education
- High School Diploma / G.E.D equivalent required
- Valid Driver's License required
- Valid California Electrician License required
- 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Critical:
- Ability to identify ideas for optimization, cost savings, and safety best practices.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawing packages, including P&ID's
- Communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary depending on experience including a short-term cash incentive bonus and long-term incentive awarded in restricted share units.
