Job Summary The Plant Engineer is responsible for providing engineering and management support for projects of varying complexity and scope. In this, he or she will define material specifications, evaluate and select plant equipment. The jobholder is also responsible for completing feasibility studies, cost estimates and economic analyses as appropriate to optimize operational processes. Accountable for managing project-related contractors, ensuring compliance with CITGO safety and environmental practices and delivery of agreed scope of work. Participate in the MOC process as the project initiator. Assist with establishing annual capital and maintenance budgets and managing their execution (including the creation of pre-job safety reviews). Participate in the ISO 45001 and 9001 programs. On-call 24/7 for emergencies. Serves as the primary backup for the Maintenance Supervisor.
