Job Summary The Commercial Business Development Manager focuses on partnering with internal and external customers/suppliers to develop, negotiate and execute commercial strategies and agreements under the Supply & Marketing organization.   The focus of this role will be developing opportunities that enhance value for the crude oil marketing and trading organization (S&M).  The position requires in depth knowledge of commodity flows, asset infrastructure, regulatory requirements, and market players within the geo graphic footprint we operate.  Position monitors market conditions, regulatory events and recommends strategies to drive continuous profitability and growth.  Position will understand trading principles and exposure risk for crude oil. The person in this position will develop knowledge and establish relationships with the key producer companies that supply crude processed into the CITGO refineries.  Position will monitor market trends, benchmark with industry competitors and be aligned with the business and trading teams strategies.   Position will prepare and present business cases with supporting economics to senior management. Position will focus on balancing long-term strategies and gains with near term activities.   The role will operate within delegated systems of authorities and adhere to CITGO’s policies and procedures. Ensures CITGO contract management standards are always met with the highest Controls environment.
