  • Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field

  • plus 2 years of safety or emergency response experience

  • or Associate's degree in related field

  • plus 4 years of safety or emergency response experience

  • or HS Diploma

  • plus 6 years of safety or emergency response experience

  • in lieu of degree Supervisory experience preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • computer skills

  • and working knowledge of SAP required Working knowledge of NIMS/Incident Command Systems Valid driver's license CITGO hourly employees must be qualified as a temporary supervisor per the Supervisor Development Process (OSDP

Job Description

Job Summary A Shift Safety Supervisor is responsible for supporting the overall operation as a multi-skilled Safety Professional.  The supervisor supports the Incident Commander during all emergency events by directing emergency response volunteer teams and contract personnel during an emergency. Additionally, this position will perform general safety & health functions including safe work permitting, enforcement of CITGO Health and Safety department procedures and incident investigation.
