Job Summary The Engineer position provides technical support to Operations on assigned units. This person acts as a technical liaison for the assigned units or area to other areas of the company (such as the Business Optimization Group, Project Engineering, Process Design, Environmental, Safety, Strategic Planning, Purchasing, etc.) as well as outside parties (such as equipment, chemical and catalyst vendors).   The Process Safety Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining systems to reduce risk to diminish or remove hazards. The Process Safety Engineer actively works in their designated operating areas to implement, update, improve PSM systems and processes, standards, procedures, and communicates critical PSM/RMP related performance information to the HSSE Department.
