Requirements
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical or Electrical
preferred) 5+ years of Process Control experience
highly preferred Refining and/or petrochemical experience
preferred Experience with Honeywell and/or Emerson DeltaV DCS systems
highly preferred Experience with Honeywell Profit Suite
preferred Good verbal and written communication skills Valid Driver's License Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker's Identification Credential (TWIC)
Job Description
Job Summary
The Automation Control Engineer has the primary responsibility for developing, implementing and maintaining basic and advanced process control strategies and applications for an assigned area. The Automation Control Engineer improves process unit performance and optimizes unit operation through deployment and support of process control concepts and technology. The Automation Control Engineer's secondary responsibilities include support to the alarm management program, advanced operator interface graphics (HMI) development, general troubleshooting of operating conditions, and to provide training to Console Operators regarding control strategies, alarm management and HMI (Human Machine Interface).
